Agroservis was established in 2006, from raw material supply departments of sugar factories, in the aim of providing higher and more stable yields of sugar beet, the main raw material in sugar production, through active consultancy services provided to sugar beet producers. Applying technological innovation, the objective is to secure sugar beet yields of more than 60t/ha, digestions of more than 16% and reduce overall sugar production costs. To that aim, in addition to individual counseling of producers, Agroservis organises demonstration experiments and field days, when experiment results are presented and guidelines related to new technologies in sugar beet cultivation are defined. A joint success of Agroservis and producers is definitely an increase of a share of sugar from 13.7% in 2005 to 17.2% in 2008, and 16.3% in 2009. Higher digestion is primarily a result of improved land cultivation and pre-planting preparation, which has enabled improved crop features, better protection from Cercospora and crop changes to sugar-richer cultures.

Agroservis agrees sugar beet production for each season at a protective price, which is defined in regard to digestion rate and date of sugar beet delivery. Agroservis provides its partners in sugar beet production with favourable raw materials for sugar beet production, primarily mineral-rich fertilizers, cheaper seed and pesticides.
