Since 2008, MK Group has accepted a new business challenge and perspective in the tourism sector. In the privatisation procedure, MK Group acquired the Grand Hotel, the Konaci “Sunčani vrhovi” suite complex, and the Zvrk National Restaurant at Mt. Kopaonik from International CG for EUR23 million.
MK Mountain Resort, specialised in tourism and hotel business, was founded on June 01, 2009. With establishing MK Mountain Resort and new investments in tourism and hotel business, MK Group has defined a new strategic and business objective – a leading position in mountain tourism in Serbia and the region. The expansion of business activities to the tourism sector created a need for the unification of tourism services and offers, and in September 2010 MK Tourist Center tourist agency was established. The agency is specialised in selling travel arrangements and plane tickets around the world, as well as in congress tourism organisation.
In addition to mountain tourism, MK Group’s portfolio includes a company for sports and fishing tourism - Maradik Holiday Resort, located at Mt Fruška gora, near Inđija.
